In Memory of - Jesse Winchester

Saddened to hear of Jesse Winchester's passing today.

I first heard of Jesse when he was a guest on Elvis Costello's Spectacle.  Despite a lengthy career in music going back to the 70's, somehow Jesse slipped under my radar and I'd never heard of him before then.  I really enjoyed his performance on Spectacle and sought out and thoroughly enjoyed his records.  Not long after that Jesse turned out to be one of the featured artists at the Filberg Festival in Comox, B.C., so I had the pleasure of seeing him perform in person.  A silky smooth voice and a great guitar player. I was really hoping to see him perform again.
