About my blog

I've played guitar for about 20 years now, but only got serious about it 4 years ago, so the first 16 years don't count. :-)  In the last 4 years I've made a lot of progress.  I've learned to sing and play, written a song or two of my own, and played a gig at local bar.  None of this came easy.  I have no particular musical talent and don't have great physical co-ordination.  The progress that I have made is due to perseverance, a good teacher and to smart practicing (which is not my first instinct).  My goal for this blog is to share the things that I have learned on the way, so that it will speed you along your musical journey.
